This is a marvelous novel!  Ms. Laurens brings us into a world that is mysterious and shows, not only its beauty and history, but it’s harshness of its culture.  

She writes of an emotional event with a tender hand enabling the reader to become engrossed but not repelled.  Rakan is an honorable and marvelous hero.  His patience and caring of Eylssa during her recovery is extraordinary.  The pure love that grows between these two defies any reader to remain unaffected.

Rarely have I read a story such as the type Ms. Laurens weaves.  She is eloquently descriptive of emotions, settings, people and places. I absolutely recommend this book, as it is a wonderful read.  Just one note, while this book is a stand alone, reading its predecessor, Bargain for Love, adds to the background of the characters.

Sealed By Revenge is a complex story that has many facets to it. 

Not only do we see how other countries and cultures deal with pain, betrayal and their customs and beliefs, but we also see a glimpse of how these people really are once they are able to break free of the constraints of their culture. I will not tell you what takes place, but Ms. Laurens wrote and dealt with it in a way that I applaud.

The story will touch you and enlighten you to the plight of all those involved. Ms. Laurens did a superb job of handling the tension, suspense, pain and joy that is felt throughout the book. The scenery is magnificent; I was able to see myself there. The attraction and feelings between Rakan and Elyssa were there from the beginning and they escalated to show that love can and does sneak up on you when you least expect it. 

Sealed By Revenge is a book that is not to be missed. You will not be disappointed!

Sealed by Revenge takes the reader into the opulence of royalty. 

Threads of betrayal, political intrigue, spying, religion, war, and revenge keep the story active. Most interesting is the detailed research the author presents in scenes describing the oppression and lack of respect given to women in the Arabian Gulf.

Elly-Royce Laurens makes the right moves: intriguing characters, surprising twists, colorful descriptions of the surroundings, obstacles coming between two lovers, active research and tension. I enjoyed Sealed by revenge and believe any reader interested in romance and intrigue will want to add this book to their collection."
